AMG was formed January 1, 2003, through the merger of two long-standing advocacy and management firms in Sacramento. The new organization employs a staff of 18 and is located in Sacramento, California.

AMG's two principals - Robert Achermann and Jackie Miller - bring to their enterprise more than 50 years of combined experience as association managers and lobbyists. Their reputations have been built on a commitment to long-term relationships with clients, colleagues, policy makers and staff.
